What do you do at Pilgrim?
I’m the Production Manager for the Development and Digital departments. I create and manage most budgets for all Development and Digital projects. Then walk it through pre-production, production, and post-production.
What’s the coolest project you’ve worked on?
Out Of The Wild: Venezuela. It was a tough – yet fun – 2 months of production on location. Our crews had to be helicoptered in and out of the secret location, which was on the border of Brazil. Their government tried to milk us for money and hold our tapes/footage hostage before we left for good, but we outsmarted them and got all of our footage out of the country safely. I can’t go into detail, but let’s just say Pilgrim 1 – Venezuela 0!
What’s the best thing that happened to you this week, either at work or outside of it?
Nothing really. I was on set all week shooting a digital project. I guess seeing gross special effects like a severed hand and ripped ear lobe was pretty awesome. 1620 Media ROCKS!
