Pilgrim of the Week: Doug Close, Post-Production Coordinator

Happy Monday! With the new week ahead we’re featuring another Pilgrim of the Week! Meet Doug Close, one of Pilgrim’s Post-Production Coordinator. As a Post-Production Coordinator, Doug is the hub that connects everything going through post.  From the coolest project he’s worked on to the highlight of his week, read on to learn more about Doug:

What do you do at Pilgrim?

I’m currently a post-production coordinator, the hub that connects everything coming and going through post. In the past I’ve worked as Pilgrim’s quality control technician, and as the vault coordinator.

What’s the coolest project you’ve worked on?

Shark Of Darkness: The Wrath of Submarine stands out because it’s a rare scripted show for Pilgrim, was shot internationally, and it’s an honor to be part of the institution that is Discovery’s Shark Week.

What’s the best thing that happened to you this week, either at work or outside of it?

Girl Scout cookies.

Fill in the blank: If you really knew me, you’d know_____.

I went to a Catholic all boys college preparatory military academy for my four years of high school.

Who do you nominate for Pilgrim feature and why?

I nominate Sharon Griffin for her ability to brighten the mood of any fellow pilgrim. She’s full of appreciation and encouragement while being able to hold her own smile no matter the workload thrown at her.
