Dating series Love at First Flight sends new couples on a stressful trip across North America – and they must decide when they land whether they want to get married. Um, what? “As producers, we’re always looking to elevate our creative and invent new ways of telling familiar stories,” Craig Piligian, CEO of Pilgrim Media Group, and exec producer of the series, tells Cynopsis. “With Love at First Flight, we crossed a dating show with a travel show, and brought a new dynamic to the table in the process. The mechanics of the series include specific tasks designed to test compatibility among couples who’ve just met; but they ultimately have to manage a cross-country trip together – something that requires teamwork, honesty and a sense of humor. This is a show we think audiences are going to find surprising and yet very relatable.” Series premieres tonight on Lifetime.
